Let's be honest, the words "interior designer" can sometimes make people nervous. You hear horror stories about blown budgets, endless delays, poor communication, and designs that look nothing like what was promised.

Enter Dylon. From our very first meeting, he completely shattered every negative stereotype. His honesty was the first thing that stood out. He was transparent about costs, realistic about timelines, and never tried to upsell us on anything we didn't need or want. He listened intently to our vision—which included a desire for the calming, minimalist Japandi aesthetic—and treated it all with the utmost respect.

But Dylon isn't just honest—he is incredibly talented. His ability to translate our scattered ideas into a cohesive, beautiful, and functional design was nothing short of magical. He masterfully executed our Japandi theme, blending Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian warmth to create a space that is both serene and inviting. His keen eye for natural materials, clean lines, and warm, textured neutrals has given us a home that feels like a peaceful sanctuary.

A huge bonus was his exceptional communication. Dylon was always readily contactable and fast to reply, whether by text or call. This put our minds at ease throughout the entire process; no question was too small, and no concern went unaddressed. It made the experience smooth and stress-free.

Thank you, Dylon, for designing our dream home. We absolutely love living in it—every corner embodies the tranquil Japandi spirit we longed for, and it truly feels like a haven. We look forward to coming home every single day. We will, without hesitation, recommend you to all our friends and to anyone searching for a truly gifted designer who has your best interests at heart. You are a rarity in this field!

We engaged Dylon from Be Real Design as our interior designer for a Tengah 5-room BTO. Since our first meeting, Dylon has been very supportive and easy to work with. Dylon helped us to fulfil our dream of having an open kitchen that is elegant and highly functional. He also carved out a study space in the living room without compromising the utility of it. In addition, Dylon designed an L-shaped wardrobe to function as a walk-in wardrobe in our master bedroom and guided us to choose fittings and tiles that made our bathrooms aesthetically pleasing.

Dylon is professional with plenty of experiences, has a wide knowledge base in the renovation space and is willing to provide post renovation services. Most importantly, we have truly benefited from Dylon’s open mindedness and flexibility.

Just like many flat owners renovating for the first time, we encountered our shares of hiccups and uninformed decisions along the way. That’s why we were very grateful to have Dylon, who was always positive and patient, as he guided us through the process and stepped in to make professional decisions when necessary. Dylon communicates well and can create beautiful designs based on abstract descriptions of the renovation we want. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with how the house turned out, and fully enjoyed the entire process of working with Dylon.

We engaged dylon as our ID and it was truly the best decision we ever made. We were initially sceptical as there was so little information on be real design as an ID firm but after speaking to several ID and also doing a site visit of Dylon on-going project really helped. He is able to articulate all the nooks and cranny design element of the house, demonstrating his attention and ability to convey how things are being executed. After going through our project with Dylon , safe to say we are extremely satisfied and have sincerely recommended him to our friends and family. Dylon is very responsive and we also understand this job is not easy hence we are even more grateful to have him done such great quality work for our first home. We are even more impressed by his after sales service. Typically after payment most would expect responsiveness to drop but he continued to service us coordinating to ensure the vendors that he worked with rectified some loose ends thoroughly. The level of Dylon professionalism is remarkable and we will certainly engage him for our next home!

We found Dylon through an ID matching platform called Redbrickhomes.sg. Out of the five designers who contacted us, Dylon stood out immediately. His approach was always forthcoming, and he welcomed our ideas with enthusiasm. Not only did he listen to our preferences, but he also made insightful recommendations that perfectly aligned with our tastes.

Our renovation journey spanned about 5 months, and throughout this period, Dylon was always reachable. He accompanied us to various places, providing valuable suggestions on quality and durable home fixtures. His dedication was evident in his interactions with contractors; he maintained excellent rapport with them and was meticulous about ensuring high standards of workmanship.

Dylon's service and delivery throughout the renovation project were impeccable. His commitment and attention to detail earned him an A+ in our book. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Elvin for the renovation of our 30-year-old condo, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, Elvin provided outstanding service at a very reasonable price.
Our condo had not been renovated in decades, and the toilet and kitchen were especially dull and outdated. Elvin took charge of the entire project, including hacking and rebuilding these areas. He assisted us meticulously with measurements and planning, ensuring every detail was perfect. Whenever we had trouble or confusion with measurements, he was always there to guide us, from selecting floor tiles to even the smallest items like hangers.
One of the standout aspects of Elvin's service was his willingness to go the extra mile. He accompanied us to furniture and lighting shops in JB to help us find beautiful and affordable pieces. He also took care of all the arrangements, making the process completely hassle-free for us. Given our tight schedule to move in, Elvin did his best to arrange everything to be ready on time, managing all aspects of our unit with care and attention.
We had many items like sinks and water basins shipped from Taobao, and Elvin expertly handled the installation of these as well. His dedication and hard work made a significant difference, and we truly appreciate having him as our interior designer for our first home.
If we ever have the opportunity to buy a second house, Elvin will undoubtedly be our top choice. We can't thank him enough for his exceptional service and support. Highly recommended!
